 Every 3rd Saturday, Sayre’s Family and Friends Organization hosts art and enrichment workshops for families with young children. These events are designed to build community and allow prospective families to check out our early childhood classrooms. We are requesting $2500 to help us cover the expense of paying teaching artists, marketing materials, and food for these events.Â
Donate a prize for our annual Bingo Fundraiser. Prizes can include gift certificates, bottles of wine, merchandise from your store, or anything you think would make a good prize. Â
Our current public address system would be better suited to a museum than a modern school. Help us secure a new system so that our announcements come through crystal clear.Â
 Sayre organizes events throughout the year to help engage families and encourage a sense of community. Consider sponsoring one of our events – like Hispanic Heritage Month, Math + Science Night, or International Night – and we’ll make sure to thank you in all our promotional materials.Â
  Keeping families up to date on all that’s happening at our busy school is challenging. Help us improve our communication by installing an electronic marquee that can be easily updated on a daily basis to ensure that Sayre families and community members are in the know.Â
 Help us give students and visitors a proper welcome to the school by donating funds that allow us to work with an artisan who can create and install a work of art above the main entrance.Â
We want our students and community members to feel inspired when they step into our school. Murals, mosaics, and other public art work demonstrate that Sayre is a dynamic place to learn and grow. Â
Our gym can be incredibly uncomfortable on hot days and during crowded family events. Help us purchase and install industrial sized fans that can effectively cool the space.
Sayre has a beautiful auditorium, but the acoustics could use a boost. Work with us to install an upgraded PA system that would allow us to host better assemblies and performances. Â
Approximately 65% of Sayre students come from low-income families, which can make it challenging for them to participate in the capstone trip for 8th grade students to New York City. Please consider donating to the 8th grade students fundraising efforts to make this unforgettable opportunity affordable for all.
Sayre has a greenhouse, multiple learning gardens, and plenty of landscaping needs. Help keep Sayre beautiful by donating plants, greenery, mulch and other things.Â
Our dedicated early childhood teachers are excited to host their Annual Winter Formal for Pre-K and Kindergarten students and their families. Our school population is expanding rapidly, and we can no longer safely host this event in the gym. Please consider helping us secure an event space that can hold at least 200 people.Â
