Second Statement (June 24, 2016):
Just an update to let you know we are on track for choosing a new principal for Sayre. After the job posting closed, we received 48 resumes to review! The committee is really pleased with the quality and diversity in the resumes we have received. It’s wonderful to have so many talented people interested in being a part of our great community.
The committee has narrowed the list to those we want to interview in person. Interviews are taking place this weekend and early next week. While these interviews are closed to the public, keep in mind that the community forum, tentatively set for July 12th, will give you the opportunity to meet the final candidates and give your feedback on who would be the best leader for Sayre.
You may continue to submit questions and comments through our email SayrePalSelection@gmail.com. Hope everyone is enjoying summer!
