Join us Thursday, March 24th from 5:30-7:30pm for a night of fun with science and math, featuring experiments, crafts, and activities for kids of all ages and their families.
Featured Speaker: Kellen Marshall
Kellen is a doctoral candidate in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a graduate of Chicago State University. A Chicago native, Kellen attended three different high schools Lane Tech, Simeon and Morgan Park. Her research looks at the relationship between transportation and the ecosystem services of urban agriculture. Kellen is also passionate about communicating science and urban ecology and is executive producer of Living Chicago, an online blog and web series that educates people on how their local environments help support food, fun and businesses in the city. Kellen lives in Edgewater on the north side of Chicago with her three children London, Landan and Keagan.

In an effort to increase attendance at the meeting with our area chief, Randel Josserand, on Wed. Dec. 16th, FFO officers have decided to cancel the December 9th FFO meeting.
The meeting with Mr Josserand will be held Wednesday the 16th at 6pm at Sayre Language Academy. Please come to this follow-up meeting that will cover bullying, teacher turnover, recess, after-school activities and language classes at Sayre.
