2015 Family Reading Night

One of Sayre’s most popular events, Family Reading Night, is back this year, with a Halloween theme! It’s this Thursday night, October 29, from 5:30-7:30pm, and students are welcome to wear Halloween costumes*. Storyteller Chris Fascione will perform in the Auditorium from 6:30-7:15pm, followed by a student “Open Mic” with poetry and scary stories from 7:15-7:30pm.

There will be other activities for families and kids of all ages around the school, including

  • Face painting
  • Raffle (ten $10 Scholastic Book Fair gift certificates!)
  • Photo booth (like last year’s halloween party, w/Leroy the skeleton!)
  • Book swap (Bring your used books to trade!)
  • Bilingual storytelling
  • Writing activities and crafts
  • Healthy snacks and drinks.
